Rev. Gerry Keens-Douglas is the Grenadian President for our board of directors.
Gerry and his wife are also local pastors and the current head of the Evangelical Churches
of the West Indies in Grenada-- as well as the denomination's Assistant Superintendent for
whole of the Caribbean. He's the longest serving board member for Youth With A Mission
Grenada (YWAM) and is the former National Director of Youth For Christ Grenada.
Alvin Campbell is a local pastor with a HUGE heart for missions
and evangelism. He oversees a discipleship ministry in the secondary
schools- as well as many programs focused on reaching the kids in
his village. Alvin often plays the role of cultural liaison and "all
things Grenada" expert for our guests and mission teams.
Rev. Justin and Erica Zauflik are the Resident Directors of Grenada 24-7,
overseeing all ministries on the island-- along with being the U.S. President for our
board of directors. Before God called them to Grenada, they'd been in collegiate ministry
for over a decade. What started as a weekly bible study grew into an international
ministry reaching nations in southeast Asia, Africa, Europe and the Caribbean.
|One of the things God's taught us through the years is not to center what we do
around one personality or activity. Because of this, He has opened doors for us and
has allowed us to see Him revealed in ways we never would have thought imaginable.
|Leadership and Advisory Board
Bo Weaver has been supporting and pastoring missions in Grenada for close to 30 years. The
ministries under his leadership have seen, literally, thousands come to Christ. In 2006, Bo sensed
God leading him to start a new church in the United States (The Bridge Community Church of
Northern Kentucky) . What started with just a handful of people grew into a church of over 800
in just a few short years. Along with pastoring a local church, he has ministered extensively in
Europe, India, the Philippines, and of course Grenada.
Eliazar Akuchie was born and raised in Mbieri, Nigeria. Since 1996 he has been
mentoring local Grenadian pastors and organizing yearly mission trips to the island.
Currently living in the United States, Eliazar works for the Richland County (Ohio)
Juvenile Court system, in turn co-founding the Richland Community Prayer Network and
Family Coalition to mobilize local churches to work together to combat the issues that
plague their community.
Chris Garner is key to our summer camp ministry and short term mission trips. After a
career in aircraft manufacturing, he has spent the last 25+ years traveling the world
supporting overseas missions. Chris has mastered the art of 'slight of hand' (card tricks,
optical illusions) and uses its draw and wonder as a unique way to present the Gospel in
places with religious restrictions or language barriers.
Chuck Payne is Grenada 24-7's secretary for the board of directors. He is also currently
the Global Ministry Pastor at The Bridge Community Church as well as being an executive in
the financial services industry. Chuck brings a wealth of ministry and business experience as
he supports and counsels missionaries serving around the globe.
|As an organization, we believe that we can only fulfill the Great Commission if we respect and minister as
a diverse body of Christ. Along with being great friends, the following men feel God has called them to
help our organization fulfill our calling. These are the men that we look to for counsel, accountability,
encouragement and pastoring. In essence, they are our "Council of Pastors".
|God has called us to change the world for His Kingdom. He's given us the power
and authority to fulfill this calling. But to be His 'world-changers' we need to live
solely for that purpose and realize that only what's done for Christ will last.
